CAROLYN GENELL HAMRICK age 75 of Murfreesboro, TN died Thursday July 29, 2010 at her home. A native of Spindale, NC, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Baxter and Myrtle Price Padgett. Mrs. Hamrick is survived by her daughters, Paige Hamrick of Denton, TX, Pamela Hamrick and her husband, Mike Holtman of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Syble Rhodes, of Anaheim, CA, and two grandchildren, Katherine and Thomas Dugan. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, TN. Mrs. Hamrick was a member of First Baptist Church, a retired registered nurse and was married to the late James Hamrick who died in 2006. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Alive Hospice in memory of Mrs. Hamrick.
