Carolyn Lee Boatright Reeves, age 69 of Murfreesboro died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Reeves is the daughter of the late Raymond and Evelyn Pigg Boatright. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at North Boulevard Church of Christ. Rev. David Young and Rev. John Risse will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Reeves is survived by her son Shane and his wife Amanda Reeves of Murfreesboro; daughter Marsha and her husband Ben Saalfeld of Murfreesboro; Brother Raymond "Pete" Boatright of Columbia; grandchildren Will, Jack and Emma-White Reeves, Owen and Reagan Saalfeld all of Murfreesboro. Mrs. Reeves was a 1960 graduate of Spring Hill High School. She graduated from MTSU with advance degrees, and taught at Eagleville, Central and Oakland High School for 37 years. She has been a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ for 50 years. Visitation will be 4:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday at North Boulevard Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to the Carolyn Reeves Memorial Tennis Fund (future MTSU indoor tennis facility) at any Pinnacle location or the Court Yard Garden at North Boulevard Church of Christ in memory of Mrs. Reeves.
