Carole Darlene Trent, age 69 of Smyrna passed away Wednesday April 12, 2017. She was a native of Mt. Juliet and was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Annie Napier Mullins; brothers, Howard Mullins and Frank Davis "Pete" Mullins. Mrs. Trent was a devoted and longtime member of Smyrna First United Methodist Church and graduated Mt. Juliet High School 1966. She was owner and operator of D Trent Truck Insurance.

Mrs. Trent is survived by daughter; Amanda Carson and husband Christopher of Smyrna; granddaughter Allyssa Elliott; Allyssa's dad, Brad Elliott both of Smyrna; brothers, Larry Mullins of Mt. Juliet, Thomas Mullins and wife Lucille of Mt. Juliet, and loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1:00PM Tuesday at Smyrna First United Methodist with Rev. Lloyd Mabry officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Visitation will be 4:00PM to 8:00PM Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. www.woodfinchapel.com
