Carol E. Pope, age 65, of Smyrna, TN, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013. She was born in Nashville, TN to the late John and Mary Hutton Harmon. Mrs. Pope is also preceded in death by her two brothers, David and Randy Harmon. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00PM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Pope is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Dorris Pope; daughter, Lisa Lowe and her husband Sonie of Christiana; sister, Darlene Daughtery and her husband Wayne of Ridgetop, TN; sister-in-law, Judy Harmon of Kingston Springs, TN; grandchildren, Kathy Price and her husband Michael of Gallatin, Kimberly Brooks and her husband Jacob of Antioch, and Kristin Kee of Nashville; great grandchildren, Kandice, Andrew, Jayden, and Alexis; two nieces, Amber and Brandi; and one nephew, Robert Wayne. Mrs. Pope was retired from Whirlpool. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
