Mrs. Carol "Shayla" Crooks, age 46, of LaVergne, TN passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015. She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Albert and Shirley Langhammer. Mrs. Crooks was a homemaker and loved her garden. Shayla is survived by her husband of almost 28 years, Scott Crooks; son, Ian Crooks; mother, Shirley Langhammer; and two sisters, Lillian "Cookie" Harrison of Chickamauga, GA and Audrey Lowe of Charleston, WV. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Langhammer. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 4:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Dee Hamilton will officiate.
