Mrs. Carol Burris Canterbury, age 68, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018. She was a native of Christiana, TN and was a daughter of the late Nathan and Elizabeth Kelton Burris. Mrs. Canterbury was a 1967 graduate of Christiana High School and attended MTSU. She was an enrolled agent for H&R Block and was a faithful member of North Boulevard Church of Christ. Carol and her husband are long time MTSU Blue Raider Basketball fans.

Mrs. Canterbury is survived by her husband of 48 years, Al Canterbury; son, Bobby Canterbury and his wife Angela of Christiana; brother, Wallace Burris and his wife Lois of Knoxville, TN; sister-in-law, Nadine Wood and her husband Troy of Beverly Hills, FL; grandchildren, Mary Beth, Hunter, and Jacob; and niece, Carissa Russell and her husband Freddie of Lenoir City, TN.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 11:00am at North Boulevard Church of Christ. Marvin Maupin and Tony Holt will officiate. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Alan Hale, Buddy Pate, Hunter Canterbury, James Herring, Tim Tipps, Dee Bracey, Tim Haddock, and Don Turner. Honorary pall bearers will be Sperry Randolph and Alton Fann.
