Carol Ann Baldwin, age 77 of Murfreesboro, died Thursday, May 2, 2013. She was a native of Indianapolis, IN and the daughter of the late Elmer F. and Louise (Gaskins) Gebhardt. Memorial service will be 5:00pm Monday at St. Mark's United Methodist Church with Dr. Jim Clardy officiating. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Snyder of Murfreesboro, son, Stan Poalston of CA, sisters, Pat Stewart and Mary Katsaropoulos both of IN, grandchildren, William Snyder, Megan Snyder, and Leah (Andrew) Coleman, and great grandson, Colin Coleman. Ms. Baldwin was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and a retired elementary school teacher. She was an advocate of education, who had a passion to learn and a heart to teach. She enjoyed using her talents with Children's Church, Rutherford County Adult Literacy Council, and Sylvan Learning Center.
