Carla Jean Wilson-Williams, age 54 of LaVergne, died Thursday at her home. She was born in Hobbs, New Mexico, was a member of the LaVergne Freewill Baptist Church and was employed by Healthcare Corporation of America as a registered nurse. Carla was known to family and friends alike as "Aunt Carla". Carla was preceded in death by her father Roy Carl Wilson and her husband Dale Thomas Williams. Survivors include her mother Mary Wilson; a sister Kim Cargill and her husband Cliff; a brother Kevin Wilson and his wife Sue all of Cleveland; nieces and nephews, Kayla, Nathaniel (fiancé Cherie Graham), Shekinah, Meghan, Chelsea, Sarah, and Kallie; great nieces, Kinzly and Makayla along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, family and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Pastor Steve Marcum officiating. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to the funeral services.
