CARL THOMAS WISER, age 63, of Murfreesboro died Monday August 9, 2010. He was a native of McMinnville and the son of late David C. and Ovalee Scott Wiser. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jerry Howard officiating. Burial will follow in DeKalb County Memorial Gardens in Smithville. He is survived by wife of 41 yrs, Brenda Gail Adams Wiser, daughters, Carla (Danny) Catignani, Wendy (Richard) Knowlton, four grandchildren Kristi, Ashley, Daniel Catignani, and Thomas Brian Knowlton, brother, Jerry (Jewel) Wiser, sisters, Carolyn McGregor, Wanda (Chester) Sullivan, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Wiser was a member of the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and a retired United States Postal Service employee. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was Past Master of the McWhirtersville Masonic Lodge 375 F&AM in Donelson. Pallbearers will be Jesse Smith, Jerry Messick, George Curray, Raymond Harrell, James Rowland, and Dorris Davenport.
