Carl Sandberg, age 77, of Smyrna died Thursday at Stonecrest Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Brooklyn, New York and a son of the late Jacob and Jennifer Berger Sandberg. He was a United States Army Veteran and prior to his illness he worked at the Walmart Automotive Care Centers at the Stones River Mall Store 682 in Murfreesboro and Nolensville Pike Store 688. Mr. Sandberg is survived by his wife Patricia Sandberg; children Robert (Christy) Sandberg of White's Creek, Kevin (Lisa) Sandberg of Nashville, Kimberly (Donald)Sandberg- Hallock and Dennis Fuino both of Bradford, PA, Jeffery (Cheryl) Sandberg and Jerry Sandberg both of Dallas, TX, Thomas Fuino of Rochester, NY; twelve grandchildren; a sister Gail (Tony) Walker of Emmitt, IA; a brother Alvin (Lydia) Sandberg of Clevelend, TN and a host of other loving family including Robert and Teri Scharbareck of Smyrna.
