Carl "Pat" Durrett, age 68, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2016. A native of Nashville, TN, he was the son of the late, Carl Wesley and Emmie Lorene Puckett Durrett.

Mr. Durrett is survived by his siblings, Charles Wesley Durrett of Nashville, TN, Judy Jones of Murfreesboro and David Durrett of Murfreesboro; and three nieces and three nephews.

Mr. Durrett was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a hard worker and was employed as a Civil Engineering Technician for 40 years with the Corps of Engineers. Mr. Durrett was a good man, a very loving son, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

A graveside service with military honors will take place at a later date in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, TN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Mr. Durrett may be made to the Wounded Warriors program.
