Burley Crosslin Cowboy , age 61 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Tuesday December 11, 2012 at his home. A native of Rutherford County, he was preceded in death by his father, the late Russell Crosslin. Mr. Crosslin is survived by his mother, Martha Jane Armstrong Crosslin of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Jerry Crosslin and his wife Jean of South Pittsburg, TN; sisters, Geraldine Jacobs and her husband Ray Don of Murfreesboro, TN, Barbara Rowland and her husband Larry of Murfreesboro, TN, Martha Dale Marty Maddux and her husband George of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Shirley Wilson of Smyrna, TN Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Danny Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Coleman Cemetery, with Arthur Ray Taylor, Stafford Taylor, Jackie Crosslin, Harry Russell, Edmund Armstrong and Will Hatcher serving as pallbearers. Mr. Crosslin was a member of Hatties Chapel Baptist Church and was a retired construction worker. He also served in the US Army.
