Clifford Giles "Bubba" Loyd, age 66, of Christiana passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Walter and Nellie Ghee Loyd, Jr.

Funeral Service will be 11:00am Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Tony Holt and Darryl Lewis will officiate. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his sister, Diane Smotherman and her husband Donnie, son, Chris Loyd, grandson, KC Loyd, Chris's mother, Pat Loyd, nieces, Sheri Arnette and Shonda Vaughn.

Mr. Loyd was a graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School and owner/operator of Bubba's Backhoe Service.

Memorials may be made to the Crescent Church of Christ Building Fund or to Community Care of Rutherford County.

Pallbearers will be Rocky Locker, Walter Harmon, Randy Ghee, KC Loyd, Chuck Loyd, Marion Summers and Jerry Tucker.
