BRYANT EVANS TOWERY, SR., age 82 of Murfreesboro, died Monday, September 20, 2010. He was a native of Fayetteville, TN and the son of the late James Farrell and Thelma Burton Towery. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Nell Parsley Towery, and brothers, James McKeller Towery, Orin Forest Towery, and Lee Wouldrich Towery. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Charles Mullins will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. He is survived by his son, Bryant Buddy Towery, Jr., grandchildren, Michael (Tonia) Towery, Kevin (Ashley) Towery, all of Murfreesboro, Shannon Towery of Memphis, great grandchildren, Blaine, Hanna, and Isaiah Towery, sisters-in-law, Margaret Parsley Durham of Murfreesboro, Bobbie Towery of Asheville, NC, and Nona Towery of McKinney, TX. Mr. Towery was a United States Air Force veteran serving in WWII and Korea. He was a member of the Kingwood Church of Christ and a retired Industrial Engineer. He was a 50 year member of the Pipefitter Local 572. Gerald Haynes, Jim Greene, Wendell Hix, Doug Hutchins, Freelin Tolbert, T.L.
