BRITTANY MAXWELL, age 25 of Murfreesboro died October 23, 2010. She was a life long resident of Murfreesboro and was a Police Officer with the City of Murfreesboro Police Department (C.O.P.S. Unit). She was a graduate of Walter State Community College Police Academy in Morristown, TN She is survived by her parents; Kimberly and Albert Joseph Maxwell III of Murfreesboro; brother, A.J. Maxwell of Murfreesboro; grandparents, Ron and Brenda Ross of Dresden, TN. and Alene Maxwell of Nashville. Brittany was preceded in death by her grandfather, Albert Joseph Maxwell, Jr. and grandmother, Pauline Shoun Maxwell. Visitation with the family will start at 11:00 AM Thursday at New Vision Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Thursday at New Vision Baptist Church, with Sgt. Gary Carter officiating Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with full honors from the Murfreesboro Police Department.
