Brenda Kay Warrick Potts , age 59 of LaVergne, TN, passed away Friday December 4, 2015. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Ola Mai Gann Warrick. Brenda was also preceded in death by her husband, Barney" Gene" Potts, sisters, Thelma Pennington, Jewell Warrick, and Ruby Bly, and by her brothers, Jody, Dennie, and John Warrick.

Brenda is survived by her son, Barney "Bubba" Potts of Smyrna, TN; daughters, Dorothy Allen of Smyrna, TN and Tina Shelton of Murfreesboro, TN; a very special nephew BB "I Love You Very Much"; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Franklin Warrick of Clarksville, TN and James Warrick of Smyrna, TN; sisters, Earline Potts Jones of Smyrna, TN, Teresa "Sissy" Colvett of Smyrna, TN, and Nellie Roberts of LaVergne, TN.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday December 7, 2015 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be held 2:30 pm Tuesday December 8, 2015 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with Rev. Perry Muse and Dr. Richard Garvin officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers.

Brenda was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
