Brenda Kay Sawyer, age 70, of Nashville, died Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She was a native of Dickson, TN, and was preceded in death by her parents, John Sawyer and Sue Pate, and niece Stacie Puckett.

Ms. Sawyer was a talented artist who loved to fish, cook and spend time with her many friends at Villa Maria.

She is survived by her children, Misty Shay Habersetzer and J. P. Chandler and wife Sarah; six grandchildren; sisters, Carol Pedigo and husband Tim, Connie Brown and husband Allen; two nephews, Rusty Wilson, Casey Wilson and one niece Brittni McAlister.

A private family service will be held at a later date in Dickson.
