Brenda Gail Floyd, age 57, of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013. A native of Sewanne, TN she was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Louise Haney. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00PM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Brother Ron Caldwell will officiate. Mrs. Floyd is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Jimmy Wayne Floyd; sons, Jimmy Wayne Floyd II and his wife Pam of Smyrna and Clayton Alexander Floyd and his wife Jessica of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, Zoey, Jimmy III, and Bailey Floyd; two brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Floyd was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved taking care of her grandchildren.
