Brad Douglas Thorndike, age 59 of Lascassas passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. He was a native of Wadsworth, Ohio and the son of the late Edward and Patricia Warner Thorndike. He is survived by his son, Sean Thorndike of Murfreesboro, daughter, Tara Thorndike of Lascassas, sister, Kim Rainer and her husband George of Hartsville, aunt, Ermalene Kilgore and her husband John, cousins, Freddie, Ann, Mary, Nancy, Vicki and the mother of his children, Debbie Thorndike. Mr. Thorndike was a US Army veteran and an airplane mechanic. Memorial service will be 2:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Chaplain Nanette Mathe will officiate.
