Bouala Kounlavong, age 100, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017. A native of Udon Thani, Thailand, she was preceded in death by her parents, Syoune and Khambay Soupomin; and husband, Bounmy Kounlavong.

She is survived by her children, Bouakhong Kounlavong, Sang (Bounhom) Kounlavong, Noutang Kounlavong, Vanh Kounlavong and Ty (Miko) Konlavong; 26 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro, TN. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
