BOBBY RUFFHOUSE ARNOLD age 78 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Monday March 15, 2010. A native of Murfreesboro, TN, he was the son of the late Hickman and Fannie Arnold. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joann Cooney Arnold, former Clerk and Master of Rutherford County. Mr. Arnold is survived by sons and daughters in law, Steve and Jackie Arnold of Brentwood, TN, David and Sandra Arnold and Mike and Pam Arnold of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Lois Gray of Germantown, TN; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. Dean Sisk officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Arnold was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was retired from Kroger after 50 years of service, and served in the Tennessee National Guard. Ruffhouse was a former National Golden Glove Boxing Champion. In addition to his family members, he will be missed by his other family of friends at Busters. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, breast cancer.
