Bobbie Benson McIntyre, affectionately known as "Bobbie Honey"age 84, of Murfreesboro, passed away February 3, 2019 at her home. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Benton M. and Carmine Brashear Benson. She was also preceded in death by her husband,the late James McIntyre, Sr.
Mrs. McIntyre is survived by her daughter, Joan M. Kellermann (David); son, Jim McIntyre, Jr, (Christie); grandchildren, Benjamin David Kellermann (Emily), Andrew McMillan Kellermann (Kendra), Allison Grace Kellermann, Levi McIntyre, and Lexi McIntyre, and great granddaughters, Emmeline Grace Kellermann and Lilly Kate Kellermann
Mrs. McIntyre was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was employed at the State Farm Regional Office from 1955 until 1965 and afterwards worked with her husband in his State Farm Agent's office until her retirement in 1993.
A memorial service will be held Monday February 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Rev. Colin Ambrose officiating. Visitation will follow the service in the Parish Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or Trinity United Methodist Church.
