Bobbie Jean Davis

Bobbie Jean Coursey Davis, age 88 of Murfreesboro died Sunday July 5, 2026. She was a native of Bell Buckle, TN and was preceded in death by her husband, John “Tommy” Davis; parents, Harvey C. Coursey and Rena Christine Lloyd Coursey; sisters, Peggy Mendoza, Dot Bean; and brother, James Coursey.

Mrs. Davis was a member of Kingwood Church of Christ and a retired loan officer from Suntrust Bank.

She is survived by her daughter, Bev Davis; sister, Libby Campbell; brother-in-law, Domingo Mendoza; sister in law, Jean Coursey, and host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 9th from 4:00 PM to 7:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be Friday July 10th at 11:00AM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Doug Hutchins and Brian Campbell will officiate. Interment will follow in Republican Grove Cemetery. www.woodfinchapel.com
