Billy "Bill" Ray Pierce , age 80 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Wednesday November 22, 2017. A native of Cleveland, TN, he was the son of the late Bud Ernest Pierce and Jewel Irene "Betty" (Webb) Pierce Hoyle. Mr. Pierce was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Pierce who died in 1961, and a son, Michael Pierce who died in 2016, and several siblings and half- siblings.

Mr. Pierce is survived by his wife, Allison Ferris Pierce; sons, Devin Pierce of Fort Bragg, NC, and Martin Pierce of Malone, FL; brother, Don (Sue) Pierce of Loudon, TN, and one grandchild.

Graveside service will be held at a later date in the Nashville National Cemetery with military honors.

Mr. Pierce was a retired U. S. Air Force Vietnam veteran First Sergeant, having served 20 years. He was also a Psychological Specialist with the state of Florida for 23 years.
