BILLY LEROY NORTON, SR. age 68 of Smyrna, TN died Saturday Nov. 29, 2008. A native of Hartsville, SC, he was the son of the late Raligh C. and Dolly Irene Mixon Norton. Survived by wife, Earline Mims Norton, son Billy Leroy Norton, Jr. and his wife Christine of Murfreesboro, daughter, Melinda Darlene Huet and her husband Todd of Christiana, sisters, Blanche and Pauline McGlaughlin both of Effingham, SC. Mr. Norton is also survived by grandchildren, Samuel Huet, Joshua Norton, Alexandria Huet, Matthew Monk, Brittany Huet, Hannah Huet, Brandon Monk, and Rebekah Norton. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Darrel Whaley officiating. Burial will be in the Carlton Cemetery in Rockvale. Mr. Norton was a US army veteran and was a supervisor with Coca-Cola. Pallbearers will Billy Leroy Norton, Jr., Todd Huet, Samuel Huet, Matthew Monk, Vernon Smotherman, and Marvin Smith.
