Billy O. Hunter, Sr.'s Obituary
Billy O. Hunter, Sr. age 72 of Smyrna died Monday May 28, 2018. He was a born in Sumner County, TN and was the son of the late, Charles Oliver Hunter an Edna Marie Purdue Hunter. Mr. Hunter was a member of Hillview Baptist Church and retired Welder.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years; Jo Ann Hunter, daughters; Vanessa Harrell and husband Bobby of Smyrna, Theresa McCoy and Husband Rick of Dickson, Lisa Adcock and husband Charles of Murfreesboro; son, Billy Hunter, Jr of Murfreesboro; grandchildren; Ashley Leaver and husband Courtney of Smyrna, Dianna West husband Nathan of Adams, Joey Rush, Jr and wife Kellie of Hendersonville, Chris McCoy and wife Melanie of Indiana, Scott McCoy and wife Katie of Charlotte; Tammy Harrell and husband B.J. of Dickson, Nick McCoy and wife Brittany of Florida, Amanda Drape and husband Robert of Cross Plains, Michael Morris of Murfreesboro, Amber Odom of Hartsville, Billy Hunter, III of Murfreesboro, Lin Hunter of Murfreesboro; Seventeen great-grandchildren; brother, Terry Hunter and wife Donna Whitehouse; sisters, Karen Evans and husband Richard of Clarksville, Charlotte Hunter of Columbia.
Visitation will be 4PM to 8PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral Service will be 1PM Thursday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Tom Brantley officiating. Burial will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
