BILLY THOMAS COPELAND, age 82 of Murfreesboro died Tuesday August 3, 2010. He was a native of Fayetteville TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Lucy Sweeney Copeland, and his first wife, Hilda Edwin Creson Copeland who died in 2002. He served as Elder at Kingwood Heights Church of Christ and had attended Concord Road Church of Christ with his wife, Ann Copeland. Mr. Copeland was an Air Force veteran and retired from State Farm Insurance after 35 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Ann Copeland; daughters, Pam Copeland of Murfreesboro and Marcia Jenkins and her husband, Nelson of Lascassas; grandchildren, Angela Thomas and her husband, Glenn of Murfreesboro, Craig Jacks and his wife, Melissa of Memphis, Amy Johnson and her husband, CW of Murfreesboro; great-grandchildren, Mason and Sydne Thomas and Marleigh Jacks; sister, Dez Richards of Nashville and Mary Ann Jean of Fayetteville; Anns children, Linda Spence and her husband, Steve of Murfreesboro, and Scott Thompson and his wife, Angela of Nashville; four grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10:00AM Friday at Kingwood Heights Church of Christ with Brother Charles Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
