Bill Lumpkin , age 86 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Friday April 28, 2017. A native of Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Charles Eckford and Esther LaRose Kelly Lumpkin.

Mr. Lumpkin is survived by his wife, Colleen Fouts Lumpkin; children, Rachael Alvarado, and her husband Mike, Matthew Eckford Lumpkin, and Rebecca LaRose Lumpkin, all of Murfreesboro, TN, and Thomas Lumpkin of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Corban and Chandler Alvarado both of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Robert Lumpkin of Dallas, TX, and a sister, LaRose Eddy of Mississippi.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Nicholas Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with military honors. Family will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Lumpkin was an US Air Force Korean veteran, and a retired Real Estate Broker in Dallas, TX. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, and the V.F.W.
