Beverly Thomas Manus, age 79 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Thursday January 15, 2015. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Reed Thomas and Ethel Cooper Hollis. Mrs. Manus was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Allen Manus who died in 2010, sons, Raymond Allen Manus and Fred Anthony Manus, and a brother, Floyd Thomas. Mrs. Manus is survived by her daughter, Sherrilyn Tenpenny of Murfreesboro, TN; sons; Kevin T. Manus of Murfreesboro, TN, and Darren E. Manus of Morrison, TN; brothers, Gary Thomas of Murfreesboro, TN, and Wayne Thomas of Sarasota, FL; sister, Joyce Helton of the Barfield community; step-brothers, Robert Hollis of Murfreesboro, TN, and Fred Hollis of Woodbury, TN; step-sisters, Debra Simmons of Lebanon, TN, and Vanessa Puckett of Rockvale, TN; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel from 12:00 noon until funeral service time at 2:00 PM. Reverend Ron Byers will officiate.
