Betty Jean White age 81 of Smyrna, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday November 22, 2013. A native of Buffalo, New York, she was the daughter of the late Alverdi and Harriet Sherman Simpson. She is also preceded in death by her husband; Robert John White, a brother Don Simpson and a great-grandchild; Mikayla Rogers. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Tuesday at Christ Church 15354 Old Hickory Boulevard; Nashville, Tennessee 37211. Pastor Bruce Coble will officiate. Burial will follow in Christ Church Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Ms. White is survived by her children; daughter Sherry Maraschiello of Smyrna, son Gary Cady of Clarksville, eight grandchildren,Lisa,Shawnee,Nichole,Cheyenne,Jessica,Caleb,Liam,Elise, three great-grandchildren,Mackenzie,Elijah,Isaac, her brother Bob Simpson and his wife Bridgett of Antioch, and several nieces, and nephews.
