Betty Nell Tatum Murray, age 86, of Murfreesboro passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013. She was a native of Birmingham, AL and the daughter of the late William Luther and Maggie May Aldridge Tatum. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Oliver Murray, and son, Donald Ray Murray. Funeral service will be 10:30am Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bob Bush will officiate. Graveside services will be 1:00pm Monday at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Pegram, TN. She is survived by her sons, Larry "Bear" Murray and his wife Judy of Auburntown, Bruce Wayne Murray and his wife Norine of Murfreesboro, brother, Silas Tatum, grandchildren, Larry Murray, Jr., Amanda Eaton, Elliot Murray, Tiffany Murray, Shane Murray, great grandchildren, Kaylee and Rylee Murray, Jessica and Landon Eaton, Christian and Taylor Murray, Eli and Emslee Murray. Pallbearers will be Elliot Murray, Shane Murray, Larry Murray, Jr., Justin Snyder, Jeff Snyder and Jordan Snyder. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
