Betty Freeman Srygley age 84 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Monday April 9, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Srygley was a native of Florence, AL, and was the daughter of the late M. V. and Emma Darby Freeman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edgar V. Srygley who died in 1989. Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Tuesday April 10, 2012 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. David Bunting and Jason Moore will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Additional services will be 10:30 AM EST Thursday at University Church of Christ in Tampa, FL. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memory in Tampa, FL. Mrs. Srygley is survived by her daughter, Janet Cunningham and her husband Jim of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Ashley Wallace and her husband Jordan of Sparta, TN, Katy Palmer and her husband Jacob of Marietta, GA, and Jon Cunningham and his wife Ann of Brentwood, TN; four great-grandchildren, Avery Kate Wallace, Liam and Maggie Palmer, and Wes Cunningham.
