Betty Adams Sanford, age 79, of Murfreesboro, died Friday, March 4, 2011 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. Mrs. Sanford was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary Cook Adams. Graveside services will be at Monday at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Brother Kevin Dye will officiate. Mrs. Sanford is survived by her husband James Hoyte Sanford; daughter, Debbie Fisher and her husband Eddie of Murfreesboro; one brother, Sidney Adams and his wife Mary Katherine of Murfreesboro; and a sister, Jane Johnson and her husband Chuck of Killen, Alabama. She was preceded in death by their son Bruce Sanford. Mrs. Sanford was a member of the Leanna Church of Christ and was a 1950 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 9:00 until 10:30 Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. 893-5151
