Betty Ruth Walls Davis

Betty Ruth Walls Davis, age 90 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2026. A native of the Rucker community in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Hencil Walls, Sr. and Bessie Mae Dickson Walls. Mrs. Davis was also preceded in death by her husband, James H. Davis; brothers, Elmer Walls, and Hencil Walls, Jr.; and sisters, Dean Benson and Marie Comer.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter, Amanda Colston and her husband Darwin of Murfreesboro, TN; granddaughter, Emma Colston of Murfreesboro, TN, and numerus nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday following the visitation at Woodfin memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Davis was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Mrs. Davis.
