BETTY BASKIN PATE, age 79 of Murfreesboro died Friday April 29, 2010. She was a native of Rutherford County, and was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Pate, and parents, Arthur John and Virginia Anderson Baskin. She was a 50 year member of Minerva Drive Church of Christ and loved everyone there. She was a retired Nurse from MTMC, NHC, and Boulevard Terrace Nursing Home. After retirement she was a private duty nurse taking care of the sick. She is survived by her husband, Herman Pate; son; Jeffrey Pate and his wife Penny of Lascassas; grandchildren, Kristi, Kalyn, Clifton and Bradford Pate; four great-grandchildren; brother, Randall Baskin of Franklin. Funeral service will be 11:00AM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ron Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
