Betty D. Naye, age 89, died May 25, 2010 at her residence. A native of Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Sydney and Louise Ramsay Davis. She is also preceded in death by her sister Virginia Mathers. A memorial service will be held Thursday at the Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna, TN. at 7:00 PM with Bob Bush officiating. Visitation with the family will begin one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Naye is survived by her daughter Barbara Naye of Lavergne, cousin Barbara Botsford of Auburn, New York, nephew Richard Heinrich of Binghamton, New York, niece Patricia Heinrich of Florida and four grandchildren. She is also survived by a son in law Lawrence Mathers of Drexel Hill, PA. Mrs. Naye was of the Methodist faith and recieved her masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
