BETTY McPEAK GANNON, age 96, of Murfreesboro, died September 27, 2011. She was a native of Wilson Co., TN, and daughter of the late Willie and Nancy Jane Lannom McPeak. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Bro. Tim Lavender officiating. Burial will be in Wilson Co. Memorial Gardens in Lebanon. Mrs. Gannon is survived by a son, Ralph (Carolyn) Gannon of Murfreesboro; daughters, Doris (Alford) Fann of Smyrna, Nancy Burnett, of Smyrna, and Paulette Naron of Franklin; grandchildren, Stephen (Gail) Burnett, Lisa (Mark) Hargrove, Sherri(Michael) Edwards, Trey Naron, Kim (Chris) Lewis, Natalie (Justin) Griffith, Richie Gannon, Temya Ezell, Kemya Lovvorn, Angela (Adam) Hames, Tracy (Matt) Miller, Michelle (Jeff) Burroughs; 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Gannon was married to the late Paul Dunn Gannon who died in 1981. She was also preceded in death by siblings Daisy Edwards, Kate Jones, Mamie Bowman, Lillard McPeak, and Cordell McPeak. Mrs. Gannon was a member of Smyrna Church of Christ and was a former employee of Precision Manufacturing in Lebanon. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Grandsons and great grandsons, Marcus and Josh Hargrove, will serve as pallbearers.
