Mrs. Betty Gail Porter Blackmore, age 67 of Smyrna, Tennessee passed away on July 19th, 2018. Mrs. Blackmore was known for her sense of humor, her love for children, and her cooking.

Mrs. Blackmore is survived by her husband, Thomas Blackmore; children, Anthony Porter and his wife Deanna of Old Hickory, Kenneth Porter of Old Hickory, and Tonya Wooden and her husband Jason of Greenbrier; brother, Leonard Porter of Madison; sisters, Dorothy Fowler of Murfreesboro, Barbara Baucom of Smyrna, and Linda Reed of Clarksville; and ten grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, James Porter and Virginia Montgomery Porter, Mrs. Blackmore is preceded in death by her siblings, Jr. Porter, Patricia Baucom, Jerry Lee Porter, and Gary Dean Porter.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21st, 2018 at 1:00PM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
