Betty Sue Adamson, 77of Smyrna died August 5, 2015. She was native of Dekalb County and was preceded in death by her husband Ellis Rudolph Adamson; son, James Clarence Adamson; daughter, Tammy Lynn Adamson; parents, Clarence Hobert and Willie Mai Adkins Murphy. Mrs. Adamson was member of LaVergne First Baptist Church and a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by nephew, William Michael Hendrickson and wife Maria; niece, Pamela Coffey and a host of family and friends. Graveside service will be 4:00PM Sunday at Prosperity Cemetery.
