Bettie Lois Johnson Stacey , age 74 of Christiana, TN, passed away Monday September 5, 2016. A native of Cannon County, she was the daughter of the late Alvin Cecil and Nancy Bettie Jones Johnson. Mrs. Stacey was also preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Bartley Stacey, a son, Tommy Stacey, two grandchildren, one great-grandson, sisters, Ida Lou Johnson and Ovie Jo Johnson , and brothers, Adam, Henry, and Hobart Johnson .

Mrs. Stacey is survived by daughters, Terri (Billy) Duke and Betsy (Ray) Bowman both of Smyrna, TN, Joan Carney of Murfreesboro, TN, Lois Williams of Manchester, TN, and Vanessa Anderson of Christiana, TN; Step-sons, Larry Stacey of Murfreesboro, TN, Charles (Peggy) Stacey and Dale (Shirley) Stacey both of LaVergne, TN, Neal Stacey of Nashville, TN, and Wayne (Sheila) Stacey of Mt. Juliet, TN; sisters, Sudie Anderson, Alene Bush, Geneva Mathis, and Nancy Prater all of Murfreesboro, TN; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, several step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Paul Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Stacey was a member of the Bible Church of Jesus, and retired from G.E. in Murfreesboro, TN.
