BETTIE MAE HUGGINS GABRIEL age 85 of Walter Hill, died Sunday June 5, 2011 at her home. A native of Oxford, MS, she was the daughter of the late Jessie and Maggie Baughman Huggins. Mrs. Gabriel is survived by her husband of 65 years, William Bill Franklin Gabriel; sons, Michael Gabriel and his wife Georgia Missy of Mt. Juliet, TN, Gary Gabriel of Ashville, NC and Steve Gabriel and his wife Colleen of Cape Girardeau, MO; daughters, Susan Gabriel of Milton, TN and Mary Scott of Lakewood, CO; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 12:00 noon on Friday at the Milton Cemetery with Rev. David Martin and Rev. Joe Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in the Milton Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Gabriel moved here from Chicago in 1993. She was a member of Kelleys Chapel and a homemaker.
