Bessie Marie Parker Accomando, age 77, of Smyrna, died December 30, 2009 at her residence. A native of Smyrna, Tn. she was the daughter of the late Delbert Lee and Jessie Bodily Parker. She was also preceded in death by her husband; John Accomando, her son; John Accomando Jr., her sister; Ola Mae Carter, and several other sisters and brothers. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Friday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna. Bob Bush will officiate. Internment will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Mrs. Accomando is survived by her son and daughter in law; Philip and Kelly Accomando of Smyrna, two grandchildren; Kristen Stanley of Smyrna and Shawn Quinby of Buffalo, OK., two great grand children; Jordan Hall and Jaxon Stanley both of Smyrna, two nieces; Diane Logsdon of Smyrna and Sharon Deal of Smithville, and one nephew; Robert Hackney of Smyrna. Mrs. Accomando was retired from the Cumberland Manufacturing Company. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
