Bessie Allen "Bess" Paschal Finley, age 92 of Readyville, TN, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023. A native of Milton, TN, she was the daughter of the late Vance and Maggie Lela McKnight Paschal. Mrs. Finley was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth M. "Mack" Finley, an infant daughter and a son, Sam Paschal Finley, and two brothers, James Morris Paschal and Vance Paschal, Jr.

Mrs. Finley is survived by a son, McAllen Finley of Readyville, TN, and a host of friends and former students.

Visitation will be held, Monday, April 3, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Teb Batey and Greg Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Woodbury, TN with Eddie Jernigan, Dwight Hancock, Russell Paschal, Gary Rains, Paul Leyhew, Mark Lester, and Nathaniel Wanner serving as pallbearers.

Special thanks to Dr. Jimmy Carter who afforded her an extra 15 years of life and to the caring and kind staff of StoneCrest Medical Center who provided excellent and compassionate care during her final days. Also, a special thank you to Lacey Peters and Cecilia Bowman for providing home care for Mrs. Finley.

Mrs. Finley was a longtime and faithful member of the North Boulevard Church of Christ, and a retired School teacher after 35 years of service. Mrs. Finley had taught at Auburn School, Westside School, Woodbury High School, and Cannon County High School before her retirement, and touched numerous lives.
