BERNICE E. SORKIN, age 86, of LaVergne, died October 17, 2011. She was a native of Kyle, TX, and daughter of the late Louis and Daisy Calk Moseley. Graveside services will be Friday at 1:00 PM at Richlawn Cemetery in Waverly, TN. Mrs. Sorkin was married to the late Jerome Herbert Sorkin. Mrs. Sorkin is survived by children, David (Lori Barbier) Rosenthal, Durham, NC, Neal Rosenthal, Dothan, AL, Rachael (John) Terrell, Chicago, and Paula (Robert) Kennedy, LaVergne; sister, Audrey Gurley, Tucson, AZ; brothers, Louis Moseley, Tucson, AZ, Michael Moseley, Atlanta, GA, and Johnny Moseley, AL; six grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in her memory. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
