Bernard Mccarty's Obituary
Bernard C. McCarty, age 67 of Smyrna died Friday November 27, 2015. Mr. McCarty was a native of West Virginia and was a retired Nurse Practitioner at Clover Bottom Hospital, and was an avid golfer. Mr. McCarty enjoyed continuing his education thru out his life having attended many universities in West Virginia and was a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diana Kendall McCarty; children, Lee Anne Sanford and husband Ryan of Smyrna, Julia McCarty of Nashville; mother, Dorothy Flanagan of West Virginia; grandchildren, Ashley and Owen Sanford.
