MRS. BENNIE HERRON WEISZ, age 89 of Murfreesboro, died Thursday, October 30, 2008. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Benjamin and Gertrude Foster Herron. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Carl A. Weisz, and brother: Bill Herron. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. F. Murray Mathis will officiate. Interment will be in the Stones River National Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter and son in law: Susan and Kenneth Smotherman of Murfreesboro, grandson: Todd Smotherman and his wife Brandy Lester Smotherman, and a great grandson: Branden Smotherman. She was a member of Short Creek Baptist Church and a three year diploma RN. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
