Benjamin Michael Buchanan, age 72 of Murfreesboro died Thursday November 19, 2015. He was a native of New York and was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Vivian Curl Buchanan. Mr. Buchanan crafted handmade guitars and mandolins. He was a gifted guitar player and singer. He also was a master electrician, handy man and a jack of all trades.

Mr. Buchanan is survived by his wife of 43years, Marilyn McGill Buchanan; sons, Benjamin James Buchanan and wife Marisa of Murfreesboro, William Henry Buchanan and wife Jayme of Murfreesboro, Andrew Daniel Buchanan and wife Amber of Nashville, David Wesley Buchanan of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, Lily, Sam and Violet.

Visitation will be 4:00PM until 7:00PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
