Ben Robert Nipper, age 90, of Murfreesboro went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Will D. and Willie Compton Nipper. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Jean Robinson Nipper and his son, Harold Craig Nipper.

Funeral Service will be 11:00am Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Pastor Ken Polk will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Johnson and her husband Gary, Tammy Payne and her husband Jim, both of Murfreesboro, grandchildren, Scott Johnson, Robbie (Ashley) Johnson, Joshua (Becky) Nipper, Caleb (Candice) Nipper, Andy and Katie Payne, great grandchildren, Autumn, Maclyn, Avney, Indie, Lilly, Abby, Fiona and daughter-in-law, Shelia Lee.

Mr. Nipper was a member of Northside Baptist Church and worked for the State of Tennessee Highway Department until his retirement.

He was loved by all who knew him. He touched many lives and will forever live in our hearts.
