Beatrice Nicholson, age 85 of Smyrna TN died Thursday May 12, 2011. She was a native of Rutherford and was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Smith Nicholson and parents, Houston and Mary Jones Carter. Mrs. Nicholson was a member of Stones River Baptist Church and retired from General Motors. She is survived by brother, Kenneth Carter and wife Shirley of LaVergne; nieces, Kimberly Lee of Smyrna, Kristin Carter of Smyrna, Brenda Kirkendoll of Jackson, and Patricia Douglas and husband Jim of Smyrna.
