Beatrice Jones Davison, age 90 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Sunday January 26, 2014 at Adams Place. A native of Madisonville, TN, she was the daughter of the late John and Rachel Bivens Jones. Mrs. Davison was also preceded in death by husband, Dr. B. S. Davison, sisters, Polly Corum and Mae Hughes, one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Davison lived in various parts of the country before returning to live in Murfreesboro in the late 1950's. She was a surgical nurse, serving in the operating rooms of Rutherford Hospital, now St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital for many years. Mrs. Davison is survived by her sons, Hugh Jones and his wife Sharon, and Craig Jones all of Murfreesboro, TN, Brian Jones and his wife Jerri Lee Mills both of Brazoria, TX, and Stuart Jones of the Philippines; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Ron Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with sons and grandsons serving as pallbearers.
